NEW MOON INSPIRATIONS

I have had a blog for a long time, but spend most of my time writing love letters in the form of email newsletters, and social media posts. Many of you follow me for my readings and I think this format might offer you a reason to slow down and take the time to read something instead of watching videos—especially with social media posts alive and well in most of our day to day lives.

Yesterday, we had a potent new moon in Capricorn. I am no astrologist, but I know that the details, intentions, and plans to work out those details are important and quite essential for moving things forward effectively in life. I mean no matter what you believe, follow, or do not follow, intentional movement is quite important.

Last week was my first week testing out sending an email newsletter with a tarot card enclosed to help inspire your week forward. I actually decided (today) that a weekly blog would be more fun for me to write, and a cool way for you to grow with me as I rediscover the ways I want to offer you insight, inspiration, and genius.

So below you will find a few cards that I hope inspire your week ahead to be a positive, fruitful and more insightful one.

TAROT CARDS FOR THE WEEK OF JANUARY 19, 2026

THE MOON

Many people I talk to, treat, create with, or read for, live with anxiety. I believe much of this anxiety is driven, or worsened by how inundated we are by information, news, and social media. The future, fear and anxiety so often go together, that we cannot decipher which is which. Are you feeling anxious? What do you do when you feel anxious? Is anxiety running or ruining your life? What is one action you can do to be fully present in this exact moment?

Anxiety is a deep feeling and if you feel into this present moment, usually you get out of the construct of time, discovering there is nothing to fear because your breath is moving in your body, your feet are on the floor, and the “time” you realize you have is right now.

THE QUEEN OF WANDS

The queen of wands is encouraging action, instead of anxiety. This does not mean bypassing or avoiding, but this means being fully present in your body and with your being, and taking note of what you need. A drink of water? To move your body? A nourishing, or comforting meal? A hug? What can you do to help you feel more grounded?

THE THREE OF CUPS

Can’t figure out what you need to feel more at home in your body? Give a friend a call. Go be in community. Drink your coffee at the coffee shop. Take a group fitness class. This is a time where you get together with others and are reminded that you are not on an island. Us humans, we need each other.

Please go be with people. Do not suffer in silence. If you need deeper or more specific guidance, please reach out.
